Get Involved with the AABC Foundation

The AABC Foundation is always looking for eager volunteers to serve on the AABCF committees.

Join one of our active and critical committees:

• Development Committee - plans fundraising efforts and campaigns

• Finance Committee - provides oversight of budgeting and financial planning

• Giving Committee - reviews grant and scholarship applications for recommendation

• Governance Committee - finds new board members and ensures the board operates at its fullest potential

• Gala Committee - plans our largest annual fundraising event, the Gala to Grow Birth Centers

The AABC Foundation's mission is to raise funds to support the advancement of the AABC birth center model as the standard to improve maternity and women's health care.
 
As an AABC Foundation committee member, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop your leadership skills while volunteering with a national foundation.

• Promote women's reproductive health and well-being.

• Support the birth center model of care.

On average, committee members spend 1-2 hours every other month in their role.  Meetings are typically 1 hour and are held every other month on a weekday.
