The AABC Foundation is always looking for passionate, engaged individuals to help advance midwifery-led birth center care across the country. One powerful way to get involved is by serving on an AABC Foundation committee. These committees are essential to our mission — and to the continued success of the birth center model.

Whether you bring fundraising savvy, a desire to uplift others through giving, or simply a heart for equitable, respectful care, we invite you to join us.

What You’ll Do

Committee members help shape the Foundation’s impact through two critical teams:

Development Committee
Help us dream big and raise vital funds! This team plans all fundraising efforts, including our signature event—the Gala to Grow Birth Centers.

Giving Committee
Be a champion for access and equity. This committee reviews grant and scholarship applications and makes recommendations that help us support birth centers and birth workers across the country.
